Just waiting on the Ferry to take us home and just wanted to say how wonderful our stay was at Laig Beach Bothy. Saira could not have been more welcoming. Freshly cooked bread and fresh eggs from her farm awaited us, she made a cake for my partners birthday. We will be coming back soon to take in the stunning views, whilst enjoying the wood stove and listening to Shooglenifty on the Bose with a wee dram. I couldn't praise our stay enough. From Johnny, Maggie, Betsy, Libby, Charlie and the rest of the people of Eigg. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I'm just back from a truly magical time at Laig Beach Bothy and Eigg. I went up there in search of total peace, tranquility and a nourishing time. Laugh Beach Bothy came with heaps of just that - stunning views from every window, calming sounds of the waves and the oyster catchers, the warmth of the log burner and underfloor heating (and incredible insulation, I would never have known it was winter outside!) and delicious flavours of Saira's home made artisan bread and pheasant pie. I've visited quite a few of the Hebridean islands and I can honestly say that the location of Laig Beach Bothy is second to none. Sara and George are incredibly friendly, easy going and helpful and have clearly put a lot of thought into making the experience at the Bothy a truly magical one. I can guarantee that if you're lucky enough to make it up to the bothy that it will be an experience you will hold dear to your heart and leave you wanting to come back for more.

We are just back from a wonderful winter break at Laig Beach Bothy.
We could search the world for the rest of our lives and not hope to find a more ideal holiday location.
The cosy perfection of the accommodation and warm welcome was matched by the spectacular location and stunning views. This truly is a very special place. We were delighted to have found it and look forward to getting to know it in more detail on future visits.

We stayed at the Laig Beach Bothy with our two little boys in July and had a wonderful time!
The location itself is amazing - totally remote and you basically have the beach to yourself (apart from some cows). The view onto Rum is just stunning, especially the sunsets viewed from the bothy.
But what made our stay most memorable was the generosity and hospitality of our hosts, Saira, George and Maggie. We loved getting a ride in their Land Rover along the bumpy road to the bothy, hanging out with them at the café. They also brought us fresh bread, fish, eggs and whatever else we needed.
This truly feels like a hidden gem. I strongly recommend staying there!

We loved our time in the Laig Beach Bothy in Spring this year. It was a last-minute decision to visit Eigg and I'm so pleased we did. The Bothy is excellent - it's comfortable, stylish and spacious, and best of all, it's right on the beach. The view is spectacular. Saira and George (and Maggie!) were fantastic hosts - they're super-friendly and helpful, and so welcoming. We were treated to homemade bread, Eigg eggs, herbs from the farm, and even a couple of Eigg beers to toast our arrival. I can't recommend the Laig Beach Bothy enough. Thank you for everything, Saira and George - we had an absolute blast on Eigg!

We stayed at the Laig beach Bothy in May. It was such a lovely location right by the beach - so peaceful. Saira and George were such a great help, providing us with eggs and bread, running us to and from the Bothy and helping us with bike punctures! The accommodation was great and had everything we needed. It was modern and had plenty of room. We would love to return one day!

Freshly baked bread and freshly laid eggs for breakfast after a morning's photography on the exquisite Laig Bay beach. I felt really spoilt and like I had stumbled on a little bit of paradise.

My Mum, Sister, Aunty and I stayed in Laig Beach Bothy for a few days in June. It was an absolute pleasure to be situated in this beautiful Bothy right on the beach looking out to Rum. We couldn't have asked for a better location, the accommodation had everything we needed and more, the bread was superb and of course it was great to just be back on my favourite Island in the most loveliest of surroundings. Thank you again and we will definitely be back! :)

We stayed at the wonderful Beach Bothy in the first week of September. The Bothy is fabulous and the views over the magnificent beach to Rum are stunning. We walked, painted, cooked, went out for an excellent meal nearby, bought beautiful handwoven baskets made on Eigg from the village hall craft fair, went on a boat trip to Muck, and were left with barely any time to just sit and stare at the view. Saira's bread was delicious and much appreciated, and we loved talking to Maggie.
A week wasn't enough, so we're returning next September to our favourite Scottish Island! Thank you Saira and George
